First day of school would have been a little smoother had the bus not driven by us, while we stood at the stop in the pouring rain. Oh well, Avery was driven to school instead. She ended up having a great time and can't wait for Monday.

Brought back memories of my first very nervous day of high school, very first day of getting the bus, and it drove right by me then slammed on the breaks and I had to run down the road to get it. I was absolutely humiliated...as you are, when you're 11 years old!!!
Hope the second day went smoother...did she love school?
I am glad to hear it went well. Lauren is loving Kindergarten, too.
