My brother bought the girls their most exciting gift, a slip and slide. Avery has spent hours on it, or should I say would spend hours on it, but we are having water restrictions around these parts due to global warming (I mean, the heatwave).
Brennyn likes to walk on it, very, very carefully. Sometimes (most of the time) Brennyn is a crazy daredevil, with some things she is ultra cautious (usually anything involving water, which I think is a good thing).

More pics of the girls enjoying their swingset. I have discovered that the odds of getting both girls to look at my camera at the same time is decreasing as they get older and bored of having their picture taken.

  1. I found your site via google, and just wondered if you had been in touch at all with the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias, based in the US (http://nfed.org). My son and I are both have one of the ectodermal dysplasias syndromes (AEC), and the NFED has been a GODSEND for us.
Your children are beautiful! Of course, I don't know your daughter's clinical history, other than what I have read on your site, but she greatly resembles the children I was just with this weekend, at a conference for the NFED, who are affected by EEC, another ectodermal dysplasias syndrome. I would love to chat with you more, so feel free to contact me at ladyvdzine @ yahoo .com (remove spaces). I look forward to hearing from you!

  2. Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I have signed up with the NFED, they have been so amazing. We were not able to attend the conference this year, but will be doing so in the future.
